Hi, I'm Melanie.

I’m Melanie Khrane — singer, storyteller, pilot of The Between, and a Time Warden. I keep photographs, songs and notes from a life that doesn’t always move in a straight line.

My Story

I’m an elite operative, a pilot, and a frontline tactical specialist. When a mission becomes unstable, I rely on quick thinking, adaptability and the people beside me. I’m independent, a little rebellious, and fiercely loyal. Being careful and being afraid aren’t the same thing.

Temporal exposure trials left me confronting fractured versions of myself. That part of my story isn’t simple. Neither is deciding what counts as my true life when more than one version of me has existed.

My Brother, My Team

Michael is my older brother and our captain. We’re deeply bonded, even when his instinct to protect me runs into my determination to make my own choices.

Krystina brings sharp judgement and field skill; our respect comes from knowing we can count on each other. Christopher Veyr is the engineer behind the equipment we trust. And Shecky? Playful camaraderie, unconventional thinking, and someone I trust beside me in the field.

Music Is My Constant

Away from the missions, I sing and write. Between Seconds and Right on Time hold another side of me — the one you can meet through a song rather than a mission report.

The Memories I Keep

This journal is where I share that personal side: music, friendships, adventures and the moments I want to remember. Not every part of my life is easy to explain. I still want to keep a record of it.
